The Florida Largemouth Bass was given its name because of its upper jaw, which extends behind its eye. Their coloring ranges from dark or black back to a greenish color on the sides, usually having a light belly.
We fish a multitude of Lakes in Florida. Our Private Lake Pits are known for large numbers of big bass with a lake record of 15 lbs. Florida’s certified state record is 17.27 pounds.
The Largemouth are the most sought after freshwater fish because of their wide weight range and aggressive strikes. Being active predators they feed on a large variety of creatures and can be tempted to strike at practically any kind of bait or lure, either natural or artificial, just by reaction. Artificial Baits can include plastic worms, spinners, crank baits, plugs and more and there are specific techniques that need to be used based on different situations.
We offer support while on the boat, but also provide lessons for a much more detailed experience in learning these techniques. We Hope You will Join Us! Book Today!
